Many improv shows invite a single audience suggestion at the beginning of a set; “Cirque du Soirée” will invite audience participation and input throughout a high-energy, multi-number set, full of singing and dancing. Led by a Ringmaster, you’ll witness wild tricks, magic and sleights of hand, while also influencing what you see on stage. No show will be alike!
We’ll have games where people get to see a song change genres, and audience suggestions will influence where it goes—from hip hop to a ballad, or from ‘90s rap to contemporary rap,” director Kat Bond explains. “We’ll see games that feature dance. We’ll also see old-timey vaudeville games where characters set each other up for musical jokes.”
Whether you’re looking for a family night out, a date night or a bachelorette party stop, “Cirque de Soirée” promises a high energy and interactive summer evening. Fans of “Whose Line Is It Anyway” will love the fast-paced games, while musical lovers will be tapping their toes to a show that is almost entirely sung. If you’ve always wondered what improv is about, this show is an excellent introduction.
